To the 20/20s and the Visually Impaired—this month is for all of us.
Whether your vision is sharp or challenged, KnoYoBoE invites you to look deeper than what meets the eye. Because Healthy Vision Month isn’t just about physical sight—
It’s about focus.
It’s about faith.
It’s about seeing beyond what’s in front of you to build the legacy you were born to leave.
👓 See Past the Surface
True vision is more than how far you can see.
How far you can imagine?
What are you doing with what you perceive?
The possibilities are endless.
You can have perfect eyesight and still miss purpose.
You can be visually impaired and still see the truth more clearly than most.
🌿 Focus Is a Form of Power
The lens you look through shapes how you live.
Are you viewing life through fear, frustration, or comparison?
Or through clarity, intention, and peace?
This month, we challenge you to:
Refocus your energy
Sharpen your internal vision
Ask, “What am I really looking at—and why?”
Sometimes, you don’t need to look harder; you need to feel deeper.
🌫️ To the Visually Impaired: We See You
Your lens may not reflect sharp images, but your inner clarity is undeniable.
You feel what others overlook.
You sense what others ignore.
And that, too, is vision—worthy and powerful.
💚 20/20 My Year of Clarity: When Sight Took a Backseat
I’ve worn glasses all my life.
But 2020—the year that turned everything upside down—gave me the clearest vision I’ve ever had. That year, while the world focused on a virus, on fear, and loss, I turned inward.
I began listening to my body instead of just looking at it.
And I felt something—a lump in my breast—before I ever saw it.
That moment saved my life.
While many experienced tragedy, grief, and chaos, the Most High chose that exact year to destroy and rebuild me.
To reset me.
To sharpen my senses beyond what sight alone could offer.
That was the year KnoYoBoE was born!
A reminder that clarity doesn’t always come from what’s seen… but from what’s sensed.
⚠️ Conversely: See It All… But Choose What You Amplify
Some people pride themselves on seeing everything—every flaw, every contradiction, every injustice. They track the truth, they call it out, they stay hyper-aware. And in doing so, they often feel a sense of control.
But even when your lens is sharp, not everything you see deserves your platform.
You don’t have to post every thought.
You don’t have to carry every story.
You don’t have to let negativity rent space in your mind just because it feels familiar.
There is power in perception, but wisdom in discretion.
Use your senses wisely.
Honor what you know, but protect what you magnify because your vision is about what you build from it.
👁️ A Note on Visual Aids: Glasses Aren’t Weakness—They’re Wisdom
Let’s be clear: wearing glasses doesn’t mean you’re falling short.
It means you’re choosing clarity.
Glasses, contacts, and regular eye exams are tools of self-awareness.
They help you navigate life with precision.
They support your journey.
They correct what’s shifted and preserve what still works.
Don’t give glasses a bad rep.
And if it’s been a while, schedule your eye exam as you know that protecting your vision. Personally, I own several pairs of glasses—not just for vision, but for expression. Their style uplifts my mood, complements my wardrobe, and often sparks warm conversations, inviting kindness and joy from those I meet. is a form of self-respect.
