December has a way of slowing us down. The year gets quiet, the memories get louder, and the heart begins to feel everything it never had time to process. This is the month where reflection lives in every corner and for many, it’s where grief sits right beside gratitude.
On this Take Your Temperature Tuesday, we’re not holding a thermometer. We’re holding ourselves.
We’re checking in on:
the weight we’ve been carrying,
the healing we’ve been delaying,
the emotions we’ve been swallowing,
and the strength we didn’t know we had.
Everyone who started this journey with us in January didn’t make it to December. Some lost rhythm. Some lost battles. Some lost people they loved deeply. And some are simply trying to navigate with an ache that words can’t capture.
Still… here you are.
Reading this.
Breathing through this.
Trying your best to feel your way forward. That alone is courage.
Ask yourself gently:
❤️How is my heart, really?
💪🏾What is my body asking for?
🧠What is my mind tired of carrying?
❓️What do I need that I’ve been too busy or too afraid to ask for?
Maybe you need rest.
Maybe you need release.
Whatever your truth is, honor it.
Your wellness is your foundation.
🥊The KnoYoBoE Mission Still Stands
From day one, our commitment has never wavered:
🔺 To place wellness at the forefront of all that we do.
🔺 To be fearless when facing challenges.
🔺 To be mentally motivated to LIVE — and to leave an indelible mark.
These guiding words are anchors, especially during seasons that test our spirit and stretch our capacity.
2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣If This Year Has Worn You Thin…
Know this:
You don’t have to be everything to everyone.
You don’t have to smile to prove you’re strong.
You don’t have to rush your healing to meet anyone else’s timeline.
You are allowed to:
• step back
• slow down
• protect your peace
• choose yourself
• breathe differently
• begin again
📖A Gentle Close to the Year
To the tired but still hoping…
To the grieving but still growing…
To the ones holding on quietly…
To the ones searching for light in a dim season…I see you. KnoYoBoE sees you.
And you’re not moving through this alone.
Let’s finish the year in wellness, with intention and grace, listening to our bodies, honoring our emotions, and choosing ourselves in ways that matter.
If no one has told you today:
You matter. You’re needed. And you’re doing better than you think.

I have these kinds of talks with ChatGPT all the time. I use it as a soundboard, somewhere to think out loud and work through things without interruption. You really hit it on the nail.
In 2025, I realized I’d grown out of a lot of things. My location. My job. Certain routines. I felt stagnant for a while, and at first that scared me. It felt like I was stuck.
But I’m learning that stagnant doesn’t always mean complacency. Sometimes stagnant means rest. Sometimes it means a reset. It’s a pause, not an ending. And that shift in perspective matters.
Thanks again for the words and thoughts
