Lately, the headlines have been heavy.

From beloved entertainers we've admired for decades to classmates we once laughed with in hallways, these recent losses have been sobering. They remind us how fragile life truly is. Whether we knew someone personally or from afar, there’s still a connection. We’ve witnessed their growth, felt inspired by their craft, or simply shared time and space in our youth.

When someone leaves this earth, especially someone whose journey you’ve observed, it can shake something loose in you. Not because their life was more important than another’s, but because grief has a way of reminding us we’re all connected.

Even when you think you're prepared, you’re not.

That’s when it hits you that vision is fragile and life is fleeting. And what people see in you when you’re gone, that’s the real legacy.
